John Parkinson

Parky has been one of the Vibes since 2002. Over the years, he’s been a member of some of the Delaware Valley's best horn bands, including Chameleon, the John Hoey Orchestra and now Chico's Vibe. His exiguous musical training (occurring about one score and seven years ago) was classically based, including study with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Pennsylvania Ballet orchestra.

By day, John is a mild-mannered actuary and Principal of the Savitz Organization, an employee benefits consulting firm. He is most proud to be the father of Sam, Alex, Veronica and John.
